I have only just discovered that ‘Baby Boomer Expos’ existed. From a quick Google search there would seem to be a booming business in boomers. I was interested to see what an event of this sort would be about and the type of companies who attend.
Both of the events I looked at are US based – why does that not surprise me. In October 2003 an expo is being held at the Minneapolis Convention Centre the other is taking place this week at the Cajundome Convention Centre, wherever that is?
Well what do you get at one of these Expos. From a quick scan of the web sites I think I can safely say that I will not rush and get a ticket. Here is a selection of the lectures. How Baby Boomers Have Influenced Interior Design, Learn to update your living environment on a budget, Ancient Art of Belly Dancing, Shade Gardening and finally all you want to know about Feng Shui.
The focus of the exhibitors is financial services, healthcare and leisure. Not a surprise.
I would love to know how they go about deciding these topics.
