It seems as if some bloggers are having their palms crossed with silver to ‘encourage’ them to write favourable reviews. The wily art of PR is being applied to blogging.
So far nobody has put me to the test. Some of the smarter PR companies contact me with news and research but this seems like basic sensible marketing. If I think it is worthwhile I write a blog entry if not I ignore it.
I have to admit that I am not so puritanical that I will not write an item that references my own marketing ventures.
