Lulu, the Scottish singer known for her rendition of the title song of the film To Sir, With Love was born in 1948. One way or another she has been part of the entertainment industry ever since.
Unilever is using Lulu as the face of the older healthy women to drive its advertising campaign for its Pro-Activ blood pressure lowering yoghurt drinks.
The ads, which I have yet to see, use Lulu in a mock reality television programme that shows her taking a three-week Flora Pro-Active challenge. A nice use of multi-generational references (face recognised by the 50 Plus, TV genre recognised by their kids). Dick Stroud www.20plus30.com
