Lots of scope for healthiness products in the UK

According to a study by BUPA, middle-aged people in Britain are the unhealthiest in the world.

13,000 people from 12 countries were questioned about their lifestyles. It appears that Britons came top for obesity, depression and smoking, making them the unhealthiest out of all the countries surveyed.

Americans are often thought to be the world's fattest, especially by Brits, but it turned out that they are skinny compared with my countrymen and women. Brits, aged 45-54, were the most overweight.

Over one third of people in this age group in Britain are overweight, twice the international average for all the countries in the study.

Maybe this is a good time to invest in Weight Watchers? Dick Stroud
