What makes a good employer of older people? AARP knows the answer

AARP has just released its “Best Employers for Workers Over 50 Awards”

The list contains some familiar names:  

BMW GroupCentrica plcMarks and Spencer plcThe Co-operative Group 

So what do you have to do to get one of these awards? Well not a great deal, as far as I can see. 

It looks like applying decent management principles and treating employees in a  respectful way will do the trick. You might also need to divert a bit of energy to making a multi-generational workplace work -  but above that - not much.
