What people think about the new IKEA ad campaign




Voxpops does a regular "what do you think of the XYZ" ad for Campaign Magazine. This week it is for the new IKEA ad.


A few observations:
  • What thoughtful comments - particularly the recurring one that it means something to people who already shop at IKEA but if you don't then it will mean nothing (It meant nothing to me)
  • I was impressed by the range of ages of the people interviewed (18-72) with four from the group being 50-plus.
Well done Voxpops - I just hope IKEA was aiming the ad at its customers. Dick Stroud
