Nielsen data about smartphone use in the US by age and income
I have already talked about these Nielsen numbers in a previous blog posting. These are more detailed and provide a really good insight into the uptake of smartphones in the US.
You can cut and dice these numbers as much as you want but a couple of things are clear. Mobile phones = smartphones - a statement of the obvious. Secondly, the rate that older people are using them is faster than most people would have thought possible. Dick Stroud
