I have just had a very quick look at the first release of census data from the ONS.
You need to click on the image to see it in its full glory. You can clearly see Baby Boom (1) and Baby Boom (2). Once this mini boom has moved through the retirement phase there is going to be a pause of a decade and a bit before the next wave hits. You are going to read lots about the census data. Dick Stroud
