Pew Internet has published some fascinating data about the uptake of tablet computers.
These stats amazed me. In Nov 2010, 2% of the over 65s used a tablet computer. Today the number is 13%. In 2010, the over-50s represented 33% of tablet users. Today they represent 42%.
Whichever way you want to look at it - older people like using tablet computers. Period. Dick Stroud
