No-contact interfaces - that is the future


For the last couple of years I have been preaching that the future for the way that older people control electronic devices is not going to be using their hands and fingers but gestures and facial movements.

An article in MIT Technology Review about a start-up company called PredictGaze seems to confirm my belief. This company combines gaze detection, gesture recognition, and facial-feature recognition to create more natural ways to control everything from your TV to your car.
