Older consumers and the future of books - Dick Stroud podcast
A couple of days ago I was invited to speak at the London Book Fair. This is a big jamboree in the the book world where publishers and booksellers get together. Since Amazon Kindle Direct, the distinction between the two groups is fast fading.
Anyway, I am interested in books, especially selling more of the ones that I have written. Also, I have some historical perspective on the industry since I spoke at another big book event in 2007.
You can see and hear what I had to say.
I don't think it is giving away too many secrets to say that older consumers are rather important to this industry. Dick Stroud
