What does this chart tell us? Older have got richer - not a bad first approximation

Not much to say really. This data, from the US Census Bureau, shows what part of the US age profile has had the largest increase in median household income.

Of course this single figure tells us very little since within each aged group the distribution of incomes will be huge.
