What a brilliant idea from Slideshare to publish this research showing how presentations posted to their web site changed during 2013.
Here are a few of the things to ponder:
Use less words
Better and more imagery
Bigger text (how many times do you here the presenter say "you might not be able to read this!"
Shorter and with more impact)
What is worrying is that I expect that the presentations on Slideshare's site are the better ones!
