The political environment for age-friendliness - the Irish story

I have spoken half a dozen conferences in Ireland and have always been impressed with the attitude of the establishment and marketers to the issue of population ageing. The Irish 'get it' and can see that rather than being something to battle against there are opportunities for companies (and countries) that want to seize the opportunity.

This is a podcast about age-friendly communities and cities.

The session seeks to answer the question: "What does it mean to decision-makers and politicians for their community to be age-friendly?"

You can listen to speakers from Ireland as they answer this question.

Certainly if you are involved in the age friendly city movement it is a "must listen". Dick Stroud
