Student debt is bad news for everybody even the old

There is nothing you do with what I am about to tell you but it is something you should know.

Student debt could,  I think will, be the next sub-prime problem.

It has been festering away for years, much longer in the US than the UK, but is beginning to cause real problems.

Basically you have a huge pile of debt that cannot/will not be repaid. That means somebody has to take the financial hit. That means you.

This article is about how it affecting 2 million Americans over the age of 65. To be honest, this is a distraction from the main issue, but is an interesting angle on this huge financial problem. Dick Stroud
