‘Why Social Media is Mostly a Waste of Time for Marketers’ Just watch it

I have only just got around to watching Mark Ritson's presentation at the World Marketing Sales Forum in Australia.

Firstly, this is a mighty good presenter in action. Worth watching it alone for his style and use of visuals.

Secondly, I am sure he saying something that a lot of us have been thinking. Is it just me that 'doesn't get it'.

To add even more power to his argument he could have added that the main users of social media are the young and in the main they are not the ones spending the bucks - it is the oldies who of course do use Twitter and Facebook but not to the same extent as their kids.
