An inspiring 100 year old man breaking five world records

The temperature was hot in southern California when this amazing guy (aged 100 years), using borrowed kit and wearing old shoes with a hole cut in the toe to ease the pressure on a bunion broke, broke five athletics world records in four and a half hours. Now it is not clear what 'world records' these are - I guess for over 100s.

The impact of ageing on minds, bodies and senses varies for us all. Clearly Don is at the far end of the spectrum where the impact is at a minimum. Great on you mate.

It would be easy for marketers if the world was full of people like Don. Unfortunately, for every one of him there is somebody in their 50s and 60s (and a lot in their 40s) where ageing has had much more impact.  You have to plan for the full spectrum. Dick Stroud
