The global impact of the aging population

I have never realised how the consequences of the aging population in the US and Europe ripple through and affect other countries. I was reading the Indian Times, as you do, and came upon an article arguing that the demand for Indian software services will change as the 50+ age group in the US and Europe retire. I am not sure I agree with the articles conclusions but it does make you ponder the enormity of the changes being caused by the aging population. As the article concluded ‘As a closing thought - did you ever imagine the reproductive tendencies of Americans after WW-II could shape the fortunes of Indian software firms in the 21st century?’
The article can be found at the Indian Time Web site
