I was looking at Seth Godin’s blog and saw a reference to the Google service called ‘Google Answers’
I thought I had a good knowledge of Google’s peripheral services but this one has past me by. Anyway, I thought I would give it a shot since I am looking for information about the use of SMS (’texting’) by the over 50s.
I was amazed how fast I got a response and the quality of the answer. Astonishing.
When I have analysed the data I will post the results but from an initial look it seems that in Europe, around 30% of those in their 50s and 15% of the 60 year olds have sent a text message. In Finland the number is twice as high as the European average.
