Young marketers

'Innocent' is a company that produces fruit drinks. It was started in 1998 and has done extremely well by a combining a superb product with excellent marketing.

Their drinks seem to appeal across the age spectrum. I recently visited their web site and was most impressed. It is a great example of how to build a site that reflects the company’s brand (good quality, light, simple, no fuss…). What amused and encouraged me was to see the photos of the company’s employees, who all looked as if they are – how shall we say - young.

It goes to show that good marketing allows companies and their products appeal to all age groups and that young marketers can understand the 50+ mindset.
