Good analysis of US travel habits, segmented by age.

According to research just published Baby Boomers (age 35 to 54) generate more travel than any other age group in the U.S. Mature travellers (age 55+) took 31 percent and Generation X and Y (age 18-34) took 26 percent. This press release gives a moderate amount of information but if you want the detailed analysis it will cost you $275.

The number that surprised me was the importance of the 55+ compared with the 18-34.
