Nutritional supplement market and the web

A while back I posted the results of analysing the SPAM that pours into my Inbox and is still growing like Japanese Knotweed. It showed the main category of rubbish I receive came from online pharmacies trying to sell me all sorts of stuff but mainly potions to assist one particular result of the aging process.

The legitimate side of the online health industry is also doing very well. I recently came upon this site that sells nutritional supplements – this being a product category where the 50+ are a significant customer group. From a cold start, a handful of years ago, this company has gone on to be a major player in the nutritional supplements retailing sector. What was amazing is that 80% of its business comes from the Web.

I appreciate that there are different rules governing the sale of these types of products in the Europe but this is a lesson that high street retailers of health foods need to take. I bet you did not know that the top five most popular supplements are.
1.Pro M3 Protein
2.Tribex 500
3.Guggulbolic
4.1-AD Xtreme
5.SAN V12
