Which age group?

The following are some of the topics covered in an e-newsletter. From the context it is clear that it is aimed at a US audience (references to medical discount cards). But what is the target age group? These are topics of interest and relevance to anybody over the age of 25.

...What to do to protect your personal credit profile
...Medical discount cards risks and benefits
...The facts about the hotel room cards and their storage of credit information
...Different types of PC Spyware
...How to speak to a live operator at a call centre
...New scams circulating on AOL

They are the items covered in the most recent AARP consumer e-newsletter. It would be interesting to match these with an equivalent from SAGA to see if they are as age-neutral.

It is not surprising that Age Concern is using AARP as a model for its new venture to target the 50 something. I just hope that it also copies the mature; perhaps I should say sophisticated, approach to the older consumer of the US organisation.
