A measure of interest about age on the web

I would like to thank to Mike Rogers (www.optimize.co.uk) for providing me this data that shows an approximate count of the number of searches for each phrase worldwide, and across all search engines, in a typical 24 hour period.

oldies - 1,400
oldies music - 551
senior citizens - 443
silver surfer - 263
oldies lyrics - 229
over 50 - 183
oldies radio - 166
golden oldies - 143
senior citizen - 129
oldies songs - 94
over 50 magazine 89
search oldies - 74
women over 50 - 71
oldies radio stations - 66
pictures of senior citizens - 43
senior citizens driving - 43
oldies jukebox - 43

I am not sure if this level of activity is more or less than I expected. What would be really interesting is to start measuring the change in numbers of searches – maybe construct an “Age Interest Factor” and see how it varies. Now that could be fascinating.
