AARP Services and The Kantar Group, one of the world's largest research networks, have entered into a joint venture agreement to provide research and advisory services focused on the 50 plus consumer.
The venture is being formed in response to growing demand from marketers, agencies and media organizations to better understand and serve the needs of this dynamic and fast-growing population.
NOW THIS IS INTERESTING. Joint ventures between commercial and semi-commercial organisation have a habit of sounding better on paper than what eventually materializes. If both companies get their act together this could be a major player.
For those of you who don’t follow the machinations of companies in the marketing industry. WPP owns Kantar that employs over 7,000 people in 60 markets around the world. Companies in the Kantar group include BMRB, Diagnostic Research, Henley Centre, MillwardBrown, and Research International. Wow. Dick Stroud www.20plus30.com
