Gorilla ad sequel – what a disappointment

Last year Cadbury’s Gorilla ad campaign was an instant success both with the advertising industry and far more importantly the public. A hard act to follow and unfortunately the sequel doesn’t work, at least for me.

From the research I conducted the Gorilla ad had was age neutral and appealed to a wide demographic and spectrum of lifestyle groups. I don’t think this one will have the same appeal. Any thoughts? Dick Stroud

I couldn't agree more. I'm afraid the only buzz around this will be bewilderment and disappointment.

Gosh. I haven't heard that Queen cut in years. Great group. Glam meets Gilbert & Sullivan. What album was that from? I'll have to go check it out. I'll jump on Amazon.com and get the CD, maybe. Or download it for my iPod.

Wow, did that Freddie have a great voice. He died too young. And Brian May - hot guitarist. Great production all around.

.... Wait. The spot's over. What was that product they were advertising again?
