The programme describes itself as: “following the lives and loves of some of the 350 residents of a new retirement village in Milton Keynes. How will they cope - and how can they thrive - as they get to grips with a different way of living?”The first programme was shown last evening but can be still be viewed (if you are in the UK) using BBC iplayer.
I am not sure what to make of it. I fear that the need for human interest stories will dominate what could be a fascinating subject. Probably best to wait until the end of the series to comment. Dick Stroud
