Time started to get real about Boomers

Interesting that Laurie Orlov has picked up on the simplistic nonsense that the media talk about Boomers. Either they are painted as marketer’s El Dorado, just waiting to be relieved of their hard earned bucks or a bunch of poor olds sods we are stumbling towards financial Armageddon. As I explained, this large group of humanity contains both sorts and all sorts in-between.

The questions is are their more of the latter than the former and how will this ratio change in the next decade? Certainly nobody in the UK is getting to grips with this question. Perhaps it is something I should do. Dick Stroud
