Keep it simple: a new mandate for marketing

Keep your marketing simple, and – trust me – consumers will engage. In a technology landscape that’s continues to morph and grow more complex by the day, remember to keep your value proposition clear to users.

This is how a blog on Econsultancy starts. I totally, completely and absolutely agree.

The writer quotes three of the tenets of great companies

Apple: “We deliver products that change your life and the world.”

Google: “We’ll help you navigate the world – online and off – and we’ll make it easy.”

Amazon: “You want it? We’ve got it. And for cheaper than anyone else.”

If you want to succeed with the older consumer then, if you forget everything else you know about marketing, don't forget, to keep it simple. Dick Stroud
