Dick Stroud - deep in the heart of Liverpool Football club
A few weeks back I was asked to present at a conference that was displaying the results of the UK's ventures in technology to assist with Assisted Living.
For me it was a first trip to Liverpool and to Anfield Road (Where Liverpool play football).
A very illuminating trip. Unfortunately, there was no lapel microphone (I hate using a hand microphone) and for some reason the AV people had placed a large TV screen behind the speaker that instead of displaying the presentation had Tweets about the conference. Methinks this was a symbol that the organisers were using "the latest technology". Mmmmm
Other than that and a small glitch when the remote slide device stopped working it went OK. Dick Stroud
