Special K targeting young mothers - are they missing an opportunity?




For some reason the Daily Mail (UK newspaper) picked up this story that was then reported in BrandChannel.

The headline read: Now Special K sheds some fat: Breakfast cereal reduces amount it contains by 40%.

Above is a recent ad  - classic one about summer comes and you want to lose weight etc etc etc.

I would think that there is a sizeable number of older people (the 20% who worry about the health/wellness) that would be attracted to this product. Maybe the ad campaign will evolve to include this group. Maybe not. Dick Stroud
