What do the 65+ do for a living - they are self employed
latest data from the ONS l
ooks, amongst other things, at the rate of self employment in the UK and how that splits by age.
As you can see a lot of the 65+ are classed as being in that group.
What worries me is does self-employed really mean un-employed?
Are we kidding ourselves that we have more employment than we really do?
I am sure we are but I have no idea if we are talking about 5% or 50%. Dick Stroud
