I detest Captcha. This scores minus 100 for being age-friendly.





I totally understand why companies want to protect their online forms but nucaptcha, a new version of Captcha, is not how to do it.

Maybe it is just me but I find it very difficult to make-out the characters.

There is a balance between protection and making it so difficult that people abandon the web site feeling distinctly grumpy.

Have a look at this website to see the alternatives to this validation process. There are lots of them.

In today's world where the standards of usability are, thankfully on the rise, Captcha is a relic of the past and that is where it should remain. Dick Stroud
