Mobile phones - the old are catching up fast

This is the latest data about the use of mobile phones, in the US, by age. A couple of points to note. The 35-49 year olds have the highest penetration of users and the 50-54 age band has only a 4% less penetration than the 18-24s.

It would be interesting to see the 55+ year old age group subdivided in more detail. Why do they always use increasingly large age groupings? 18-24 is only 6 years whilst 55+ encompasses 25 years of life! Dick Stroud: www.20plus30.com
