Now this might seem like a statement of the obvious but I don’t think it has entered into the consciousness of your average marketer.
What worries me is the type of questions that were used to make this pronouncement.
In the last 4 weeks have you:
Visited friends /relatives
Listened to the radio
Watched TV
At least one outing (including a walk)
Surprise, surprise you get pretty consistent answers over the age range 30-60. Even for the age group 60-69 the differences are very small.
