Aging goes to Washington

Washington (11-14) December hosts the 2005 White House Conference on Aging.

Want to read the Who’s Who of the aging business then have a look the list of speakers and programme.

As a Brit I will sleep better in bed tonight to know that Dr. Eveline Honigsperger, Federal Ministry of Social Security & Generations & President of the European Federation of Older Persons (EURAG) will be representing my interests. No I am not being serious – another bureaucrat emerges from the bowls of Brussels onto the conference circuit and then dives back down again never to be heard of again - no doubt traveling first class all the way.

If you want feel the pulse of what is going on then you can go to the unofficial blog that contains an interactive forum. You will not find me there since it will not let me register my e-mail address as it is protected by the “we don’t want those sorts of words on our blog” software. Work it out yourself dick@20plus30.com. Have a nice day.
