BrandChannel’s recent mailing had an item titled: “The comprehensive simplicity of New Zealand's online presence puts multinational companies to shame”. They are absolutely right.
Web sites are not all that the Kiwis are good at doing. If you get a chance to see the Air New Zealand TV ad (You’ll never know – being there is everything) then take it. I rate it as one of the best pieces of multigenerational advertising I have seen.
Talking of brilliant ads, M&S (UK retailer) used Twiggy (famous 60s model) plus a raft of today’s top young European models and wrapped it all up in the ELO’s Mr Blue Sky. Definitely in my top 5 ads of 2005.
These ads are large files. If you think your broadband access is up to the job then tell me and I will send you the link. Dick Stroud
