There is a strange island, not far from the English mainland called the Isle of Wight. Its single claim to fame is the town of Cowes that is renowned for its sailing. Queen Victoria had a penchant for the place, but that was a long time ago.
Well I have just discovered that the Isle of Wight could be a 50-plus marketer’s dream location (it contains 30% more 65+ than the rest of the UK). It is unlikely to be a place to have a vacation but to test products.
