The people at the future foundation know that making decent chunks of their research freely available is a great way of promoting their business. I wish more companies would follow their example.
A presentation they recently sent me contains some fascinating stuff about the way that differences in age, income and consumer type affect national behaviour.
This is an interesting example. In what countries would you think that the 55+ had the highest agreement with this statement: “Companies should be penalised for failing to care of the environment”. Surprisingly it is Germany, The Czech Republic and the UK.
The countries where the 15-34 have the highest level of agreement are Italy, Poland and Russia.
If anybody has some words of explanation for this strange country grouping; let me know.
Thanks again, future foundation, for some first rate research.Dick Stroud
