iPad and medicine - a goldmine of applications

It looks to me as if the iPad is ideal for a host of medical applications that require access to mobile multi-media data.


I guess that in the next generation of devices and add-ons you are going to see the devices linking directly to medical diagnostic equipment.


No doubt that as  we move into an era of high-tech support for doctors much of the NHS will still be using quill and ink. 


Just in the same way as we are seeing an ultra-fragmentation of consumers we will see the same in care and medical care suppliers. 


I have no doubt the gap between state and private funded care services will keep enlarging. Dick Stroud
