Non-standard interfaces - will they always be small time?



This video shows software from Doro that sits above the Android operating system to make it easier for older people to use.

It looks pretty good but I am very uncertain whether hybrid software add-ons, from small hardware/software vendors, will ever gain traction.

If older people are tech literate they want the mainstream product. If they have no digital skills then the world is going to rapidly move on to provide the basic Internet tools via the TV.  Dick Stroud
