Distant dreams of having the naivety and idealism of Generation Z

If I had a dollar, even a cent, for every report that has been produced by companies, market research agencies or public sector organisations, claiming to know how a generation of people behave then I would be a wealthy guy. I am not just talking about Boomers or seniors but the tsunami of reports about Millennials and now Gen Z. Wikipedia defines this group as a discrete generation with birth years ranging from the late 1990s through the 2010s.

Well here is another report to add a cent to my wealth.

I had to laugh at one of the key insights about Gen Z. Apparently they don't have much trust in elected officials but still a lot more than older age groups.

Not really surprising since the older ones have been around that much longer to see their youthful ideals trampled by reality.

Gen Z should enjoy this naivety whilst it lasts (not long). A rather cynical Dick Stroud
