UK is still the state of a digital crisis. Yawn. 60% of the 75+ not using digital















Here is the latest data from the ONS about the level of Internet user in the UK.

No comment needed, the graphic says it all.

Still less than 60% of the 75+ age group have used the Internet in the past 3 months.





Unfortunately, the issue with digital skills is not limited to oldies as is explained in this report from the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee. The title (Digital Skills Crisis) gives away the report's conclusion. I seem to remember the UK has been in a digital crisis for as long as I can remember

There is some good news. As can be seen from this chart, the level of Internet use is on the increase, albeit it slowly. Dick Stroud
