I recently had two terrific days away at a superb hotel in the New Forest in the UK.
I can never completely stop from looking at the world through an 'age-friendly eye' and in the main the hotel scored very well on this account until I came upon this use of colour.
How on earth can a designer accept such a terrible way of using reversed out text on a pale background. I genuinely had difficulty reading the headings, even wearing glasses.
You wonder whats goes through designers minds when they produce such poor material. I ghuess the answer is - not much. Dick Stroud
