I had another look at the press coverage of OMD’s research (UFOs - Understanding Fiftysomethings). Try as I may I cannot get anybody to tell me where I can get a copy of the report. If somebody from OMD is reading this post I have sent three messages to your web site and never had a response – not good.
Anyway, they looked at the perennial question of “willingness to try new brands” and discovered that with the exception of a couple of weird groups of people labeled ‘Living day to day’ and ‘Anchored in the past’ the remainder all showed above a 50% propensity to try new brands.
