Older Adults and the Web was a two day conference to help US government staff understand the issues of older people and the technology.
Its aims were to: “share, promote, and demonstrate usability policies, methods, research, and best practices that improve the usability of Federal websites and other communication technologies”.
The event was hosted by AARP and supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the General Service Administration's Usability Solutions Group.
This is probably the best collection of papers and presentations you are going to find about technology and older anywhere on the Web (until the Web site that supports my book is published!). Dick Stroud: www.20plus30.com
