Strategic Directions Group, a research firm, has published the results of a survey of differences in attitudes of older Republicans and Democrats on a range of “social issues”. The result that interested me was that more Kerry voters (38%) than Bush voters (28%) say they will depend on Social Security for 50% or more of their financial support in retirement.
I have no idea what the marketing implications of this nugget are but what is interesting is that the figure is so high (ie 30%+ of the boomer age group).
