Transita publishes books for the 45-plus women

A new publisher called Transita is focusing on fiction that mirrors the experiences of today’s 45-plus woman.

As the company’s Web site says: “The majority of women’s fiction is published for twenty and thirty year olds. Those are our kids! As much as we love them we don’t always want to be reading about them. We spend enough years living our lives through theirs as it is! We want to read about women of our own age.”

Do have a listen to one of the founders Nikki Read being interviewed on the BBC’s Open Book programme. I wonder what format books Transita is publishing . See my post on the 2nd March titled: “Bigger font = more book sales”. Dick Stroud www.20plus30.com
