Ageless and/or age neutral marketing

A client recently asked me the difference between age neutral and ageless marketing. Hope this explanation helps.

Ageless marketing is a strategic means for extending a brand’s reach based on the principles of developmental relationship marketing. DRM is a marketing platform that integrates stage-of-life changes in needs and behaviour with recent and often astonishing findings in brain research concerning how our brains detect and react to incoming information and how our conscious minds form perceptions, thoughts and decisions.

Age neutral marketing is the practice of marketing theory minus the assumptions, hunches, stereotypes, pseudoscience and mysticism associated with aging and the age of consumers. Age neutral creative resonates with consumers of a wide range of ages. Dick Stroud
