Sex and the single boomer

This is the title of this week’s copy of Newsweek.

The lead article is great.

I am not sure how it will help your marketing to the 50-plus but it does provide a fascinating insight into how so many of my age group seem to spend their time.

Whilst I have been busy writing books about marketing to the 50-plus there is another group of authors producing titles like: "Flings, Frolics and Forever Afters: A Single Woman's Guide to Romance After Fifty". I will have a bet with you that they will sell a lot more copies than I do!

Like all ‘feature’ pieces this does depict the world in stereotypical terms. However, there is a serious side to the article and that is that life does not grind to a halt on your 50th birthday. Well not for a lot of people. Delayed New Year’s resolution: “must get out more”. Dick Stroud.
